TEKNOFEST Adana Ended with a Spectacular Ceremony
TEKNOFEST, Turkey's largest aviation, space and technology festival, ended with a spectacular finale in Adana this year. During the 5-day festival, technology and innovation enthusiasts came together, while thousands of young people left their mark on the future with their projects.
During the closing ceremony of TEKNOFEST, Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the TEKNOFEST Board, and Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology, thanked the people of Adana for their interest in TEKNOFEST, which exceeded 1 million visitors.
On its fifth day, TEKNOFEST Adana continued with great enthusiasm, with notable attendees at the closing ceremony including Haluk Görgün, President of the Defense Industry, Osman Aşkın Bak, Minister of Youth and Sports, Yavuz Selim Köşger, Governor of Adana, and Haluk Bayraktar, General Manager of Baykar.
In the closing ceremony held on the main stage of TEKNOFEST, Selçuk Bayraktar expressed deep gratitude as he bid farewell to beautiful Adana, the heart of TEKNOFEST Mediterranean.
Bayraktar also thanked the Adana Governorship, Adana Metropolitan Municipality, and the municipalities of Seyhan, Sarıçam, Yüreğir, Çukurova, Ceyhan, Pozantı, Kozan, and Karaisalı for their significant contributions to organizing TEKNOFEST Mediterranean. He stated that 2025 will be a year where TEKNOFEST aims for even greater goals. He mentioned that they will achieve new successes with the youth of our country as well as friendly and brotherly regions at TEKNOFEST events to be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Istanbul.
In his closing speech, Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated, “We will embrace the National Technology Initiative with a spirit of mobilization. We will never compromise on our achievements that have transformed our country into an island of peace and stability in a region engulfed in turmoil.”
At the closing ceremony, the top three teams in the TEKNOFEST Champions League were awarded their prizes by Selçuk Bayraktar and Mehmet Fatih Kacır.

One of the most anticipated events of the day, the flight demonstrations, once again took the audience's breath away. The aerial displays of the Atak Helicopter, F16, KC-135, and S70 Steel Wings, along with breathtaking performances by the Turkish Stars and Solo Türk, as well as the T70’s air evacuation flight, provided adrenaline-filled moments for the spectators. Aimed at increasing interest in aviation, these demonstrations opened new horizons for the imaginations of children.
TEKNOFEST’s activities for children continued to draw great interest on the final day. With science demonstrations, children had fun while experiencing the excitement of discovering science. The day, filled with creative workshops and educational activities, inspired big dreams for the little inventors.
The TEKNOFEST Children's Stage provided a day full of exciting and educational activities for young visitors. With award-winning trivia contests, "The Stage is Yours" children's activities, and captivating performances like Hürkuş and Gökbey the Musical, children enjoyed themselves while also relishing the joy of learning.
As part of the "A Child Comes, Touches an Airplane" program organized in memory of Özdemir Bayraktar, children experienced an unforgettable flight adventure. The little ones, who had the chance to touch airplanes and participate in flight programs, opened the doors to the world of aviation. In this project, 40,000 children participated in the event, taking their first steps toward becoming future engineers and pilots.
TEKNOFEST Adana concluded on its fifth day, offering visitors an unforgettable journey in the world of technology and science, filled with excitement and innovation.
